About us

We are the dedicated team of Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park, entrusted with the conservation and management of this coastal jewel in Albania. Covering 12,437.7 hectares in Vlorë, our park is a Category II National Marine Park, declared in 2010, and holds vital significance a Special Area of Mediterranean Importance (SPAMI), Key Biodiversity Area and Important Bird Area. The park is managed since 2015 by the National Agency of Protected Areas, through the Regional Administration of protected Areas in Vlore. Supported by UNDP Albania, donors, and partners, we are committed to sustainable conservation efforts and fostering a harmonious relationship between people and nature.
